Sundwig GmbH, based in Hemer, Germany, a member of international technology Group Andritz, received orders from ThyssenKrupp Steel AG and from Antwerp Decoil Center to supply and erect specialized equipment for processing hot rolled plates and hot rolled strip for a total order value of over 25 MEUR.
Andritz MAERZ, headquartered in Düsseldorf, Germany, a member of international technology Group Andritz, received an order for supply of 13 horizontal and eight vertical heat treatment furnaces for the new forge of Forge Saar/Saarschmiede GmbH, Germany. The furnaces to be supplied by Andritz MAERZ will be used in the heat treatment of forged pieces and for hardening and tempering rotationally symmetric forged pieces and shafts.
Andritz MAERZ with headquarters in Düsseldorf, Germany, a member of international technology Group Andritz, will supply a heat treatment plant for train wheels for the ironworks combine Nizhniy Tagil Iron & Steel Works (NTMK) in Tagil, Russia.
International technology group Andritz has acquired 100% of MAERZ-Gautschi Industrieofenanlagen GmbH, Düsseldorf, Germany from Hochtemperatur GmbH, a company of Deutsche Beteiligungs AG. It was agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
During the last two months, international technology group Andritz received several major orders for stainless steel annealing and pickling lines, rolling mills, and acid regeneration systems from renowned international stainless steel producers. The total value of these orders is approximately EUR 250 million.
