Our center of competence for controllable pitch propellers is located at the VA TECH Escher Wyss site in Ravensburg, Germany. It is about a two hours car drive from Zurich (Switzerland), Munich or Stuttgart international airports. Furthermore, there is a regular domestic flight connection from Francfort international airport to Friedrichshafen airport, which is located just about 15 km south of our offices.

Alternatively, you can also reach us via Munich or Stuttgart by train. The VA TECH Escher Wyss administrative building and engineering offices are just opposite to the railway station in Ravensburg.

When taking the train or the car from Zurich airport you have to cross the Lake of Constance. Public ferries with a coordinated and dense shuttle-service are provided for both car and train travellers.

Three countries are bordering on the Lake of Constance: Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. It is not only a touristic region but you can also find here further well established companies of the high-technology and shipbuilding related sector.
