Andritz to supply stock preparation equipment to SCA Packaging Italia s.p.a. (Lucca mill, Italy)

International technology Group Andritz received an order from SCA Packaging s.p.a., for the supply of stock preparation components to improve the quality of the stock preparation system for the top layer of PM 2 of the Lucca mill. The pulp obtained is used to produce white top liner. The order also covers site installation supervision, start-up, and training. The start-up is scheduled for March 2009.

Andritz to supply curtain coater to Cham Paper

Andritz BMB in Bülach, Switzerland – member of the international technology Group Andritz – will supply a curtain coater to the Cham Paper Group, Switzerland. The machine traded under the brand name PrimeCoat Curtain will be equipped with a multi-layer nozzle and integrated into an existing offline coating range at the Cham plant. Commissioning is planned for January 2009.

Andritz to supply evaporation plant to Södra

International technology Group Andritz received an order from Södra, Sweden to supply a new evaporation plant for the pulp mill in Värö and a new screening system for dryer No. 5 at Mönsterås pulp mill. Total order value is over 30 million Euros.
