Andritz and GE Energy have successfully closed the transactions announced in May and June 2008, pursuant to which Andritz has acquired certain assets of GE Energy’s Hydro business as well GE Energy’s majority interest in GE Hydro Inepar do Brasil S.A., to be renamed Andritz Hydro Inepar do Brasil S.A.
International technology Group Andritz has received the Viennese Stock Exchange Award 2008. Andritz won the main category, the ATX Prize, which is awarded to companies of the leading index of the Viennese Stock Exchange for the quality of their work in the Austrian capital market.
Today’s 101st Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of Andritz AG agreed to a dividend payment of 1.00 Euro per share for the 2007 business year. This corresponds to an increase of approximately 33% in comparison with 2006 (0.75 Euro per share). Ex dividend date is March 31, 2008, the date of payment April 4, 2008.
