Accessories - Modular System Print Version

Due to the multiple requirements both for industrial and municipal applications, Andritz produces modular design filter presses. In addition to the basic design of the filter press, various modular components can be selected. As such filter presses can be integrated in many different processes.

A great variety of equipment components for filter presses has been developed through many years and helped us to create a system which allows us to offer a plant which suits the customer's requirements (filter presses of "modular" design system). By choosing the corresponding accessories, every single machine can be equipped specifically to customer and product requirements.

Within the range from manual up to fully automatic operating machines, everything is possible. The basic machine "filter press" can be equipped with additional equipment components, such as an automatic plate shifting device of various executions, an automatic filter cloth washing plant, various filter cake discharge devices such as spreading mechanism, vibrating devices or - for very sticky filter cakes - a cake scraping device. The functions of the individual operations are controlled by means of electronic or optical components.

For highly contaminated filter cloths we offer the use of cleaning systems. The filter press is filled up with corresponding chemical solutions to dissolve any contamination. Afterwards the filter cloth is rinsed and subsequently washed once more by means of a high pressure washing device at a pressure of up to 100 bar.

The complete operation of the plant is controlled by means of PLC technology, recording all data on which our recording and visualisation systems are built, as well as all errors.
