In-house manufacture of key components - stringent quality requirements for outside suppliers
Key components whose design and manufacture require specialized know–how and facilities are manufactured at one of the ANDRITZ GROUP’s production sites.Well-trained employees experienced in the various required technologies contribute to the company success. Outside suppliers for B- and C-components are subject to systematic selection and quality monitoring.

Cost leadership and capacity management
Cost analysis and strict cost management in manufacturing contribute substantially to the competitiveness of the Group’s products in terms of prices. The Group’s production capacities are dimensioned such that even in times of weaker economy the riskof fixed costs not being covered by gross margins is minimized. Peaks and troughs inworkload are managed by sourcing of B- and C-parts - another major element in the cost leadership of the ANDRITZ GROUP - and by the use of temporary  workers.

Systematic measures lead to quality improvements
To give an example, one comprehensive project aiming at further improving manufacturingquality was carried out at the Graz site. This included product audit monitoring which since then has shown the positive development of quality key figures.
