The Andritz screening system is always custom designed as part of the complete production process, taking the raw material and final product into consideration. By integrating the screening in its different stages throughout the fiberline, the optimal process solution is reached.

The conventional Andritz brownstock screening system consists of a knot separation stage, brownstock screening stage and fiber recovery. In recent years, a modern integrated screening system has been developed. Integrated screening system combines knot separation and primary fine screening stages or the guard screening and primary screening stages into a single unit, greatly simplifying the screening process.

A special Fiber Recovery stage, in which reject fiber from other stages is recovered and put back into the process ensures minimal fiber loss in the fiberline.
