An innovative technology was developed to simultaneously measure properties of pulp (such as consistency and freeness) based upon a multi-ingredient scan of the pulp with an inline sensor.  

IDEAS Simulation & Control developed a full range of solutions for kraft pulp mills.  Simulation has proven to be an essential tool for a fast start-up – by allowing the testing of all process automation loops before the actual start-up and the training of operators so they are prepared to take control of the process at the moment the start-up button is pushed.
