Belt Filter Presses, Type CPF

Advanced CPF technology to set the industry standard for high-performance dewatering.
Over decades, the CPF technology has evolved and optimised dewatering processes. Today, in excess of 1200 operative units prove the CPF as the benchmark for solid-/liquid separation in a wide range of industrial applications. Rugged and reliable, the CPF is the preferred choice of industrial clients all round the globe.

Specific dryness levels, capacity as well as specific polymer and power usage rates are guaranteed, based on long years of experience and available testing facilities.

Applications & References

  • Tailings from Mining and Mineral Processing Industries
  • Dredging Sludge - Contaminated Soil
  • Drilling Mud and Oil Sludge
  • Cement Slurry
  • Products from Food and Chemical Industry

Features

  • Wide range of specific designs for different applications available, all suitable for round the clock operation under hardest conditions
  • Materials of construction range from mild steel to stainless steel 316
  • Optimized dewatering zones include 1 (or optionally, 2) drainage zones, wedge zone, low-pressure zone and high-pressure zone. The pressure is increased gradually depending on sludge stability
  • Optional Press – Nips available for stable sludge
  • Special baffles in the drainage zone(s) to improve liquid removal.
  • Heavy design allows application of high belt tension and high dewatering pressure
  • Cantilever design available to allow use of endless filter belts
  • No slide strips or foils used on abrasive materials – special lined rollers provide low wear and long useful belt life in excess of 10 000 hours
  • Reliable operation due to fully automatic, pneumatic belt alignment and tensioning system and parallel guiding of tension rollers
  • Tailor – made mixing – and distribution systems for any application provide efficient sludge / polymer mixing and low specific polymer consumption.
  • Lowest possible moisture content due to high pressing and shear forces
  • Belt wash system, designed as industrial standard wash systems for each filter belt. Internal cleaning-brushes are provided at each of the cleaning pipes to keep the shower nozzles clear. No blinding of filter belts.
  • Belt drive systems available as mechanical, frequency-controlled, or hydraulic drive to meet all requirements
  • Testing facilities available
