On the occasion of the Viennese Stock Exchange Award 2009, international technology Group ANDRITZ was again honored for its comprehensive Investor Relations activities. In the main category, the ATX Prize, which is awarded to companies that are part of the leading index of the Vienna Stock Exchange for their work in the Austrian capital market, ANDRITZ was second, after winning in this category last year.
ANDRITZ HYDRO Brasil received an order for supply, installation supervision, and commissioning of equipment for the Jirau hydroelectric power plant, located on the Madeira River, northern Brazil, from Energia Sustentável do Brasil (ENERSUS). The order value is approximately 170 MEUR.
The consortium comprised of ANDRITZ HYDRO Brasil, ANDRITZ HYDRO Inepar, and IESA Projetos received an order to supply and install the electromechanical equipment for the Batalha hydropower station from the Brazilian federal utility, Furnas Centrais Elétricas. The order value is approximately 44 MEUR.
