In the year 2002, VA TECH Hydro Jevnaker could secure also an order with Compact Francis Turbines in Kolfossen. Many of the projects in Norway are based on a co-operation between VA TECH HYDRO in Ravensburg and VA TECH HYDRO in Jevnaker. In the beginning to find out the most efficient split of supply was not easy, but now Ravensburg is supplying turbines, valves, generators, turbine and generator control and commissioning. Jevnaker is completing the scope with penstocks and gates, cooling water systems, transformers, MV switchgears, balance of plant, project co-ordination and erection.

Other factors for winning a project are the rules and ethics for tender evaluation, where the Norwegians are the most correct people and so it is definitely that the bid counts. Undoubtedly, the co-operation on the field of Compact Hydro is now bearing more and more fruits.
