The boom of Norway's small Hydro market continues steadily. In the year 2002, a letter of intent was awarded to VA TECH HYDRO in Jevnaker for the project Kongsfoss. It will be supplied with a vertical Compact Axial Turbine.

Many of the projects in Norway are based on a co-operation between VA TECH HYDRO in Ravensburg and VA TECH HYDRO in Jevnaker. In the beginning to find out the most efficient split of supply was not easy, but now the Ravensburg is supplying turbines, valves, generators, turbine and generator control and commissioning. Jevnaker is completing the scope with penstocks and gates, cooling water systems, transformers, MV switchgears, balance of plant, project co-ordination and erection.
