First success for Compact Hydro together with our local partner VA TECH MØller Energi. VA TECH MØller Energi was awarded a contract for the delivery of two Compact Francis units to the LINDLAND Power plant, owned by Dalane Energi. The power plant located in the south western part of Norway, will be built as a completed new cavern plant.
The fact that VA TECH HYDRO was able to offer the delivery of a complete electromechanical package, was evaluated positively by both the client and the consulting engineer. VA TECH HYDRO in Ravensburg will provide turbines, electronic-hydraulic governors, inlet valves and generators as well as the commissioning service. VA TECH MØller Energi will complete the supply with gates, penstock sections, water cooling system, powerhouse crane, switch gear and transformers, protection, cabling and erection.
The commissioning took place in autumn 2002, VA TECH MØller Energi has previously delivered numerous power plants, but LINDLAND is the first delivery based upon a VA TECH HYDRO concept.
