In Canada, Innergex II has awarded VA TECH HYDRO in Canada with the engineering contract for two single regulated ECOBulb™ units of approx. 4 MW each for the project named Sonoco. The engineering work is completed and the manufacturing will start soon. During the industrialization phase of the ECOBulb™ turbo generators, additional projects with typical features will be selected to develop the ECOBulb™ range from 1 to 4 MW and from 3 to 15 m head.
