The Hydro Power Business Area of the Andritz Group is headed by:

    

Harald Heber joined the Management of the the Hydro Power Business Area in November 2007 after having successfully managed the Andritz Feed and Biofuel Business Area since joining Andritz in 2004. Prior to his employment with Andritz, Mr. Heber was Managing Director of ICG Infora Consulting Group where he acted as consultant for international companies of the industrial, service and media sectors. His primary focus was on the design and implementation of change management projects and he successfully supported Andritz AG throughout various transformation projects. Harald Heber holds a doctorate in mechanical and industrial engineering from Graz University of Technology, Austria.

  

    

Michael Komboeck joined ELIN, Weiz/Austria, in June 1978, after having received an engineering degree from the technical high school in Graz, Austria. He started his career as a generator design engineer, and became head of turbo-generator design & development in 1986. Starting in 1991, he successfully built up the cooperation with General Electric, USA, which ultimately created a sustainable relationship on co – development and a sizeable turbo-generator supply business to GE.
Early 1996 he was appointed general manager of the generator sales and project management organisation and became relocated in Vienna. After the merger of ELIN, MCE and Escher Wyss and the formation of VA TECH HYDRO in 2000 he became senior vice president and manager of the service & rehab business division. In July 2008 he joined the managing board of VA TECH HYDRO GmbH.
   
Wolfgang Semper joined Voest-Alpine AG in 1982 after graduation from the Technical University of Vienna in Mechanical Engineering and finished a post graduate MBA at the University of Toronto in 1996. At that time, Mr. Semper was appointed Senior Vice President of the Division Hydro Turbines & Plants at Voest-Alpine Machinery, Construction & Engineering GmbH. Between 1998 and 1999, Mr. Semper additionally was Managing Director of Hydro Vevey S.A. in Vevey, Switzerland. With the foundation of VA TECH HYDRO GmbH in 2000 he became Senior Vice President of the Business Unit Large Hydro. In July 2008 he joined the managing board of VA TECH HYDRO GmbH.
