History

• 1978 Creation in Paris of Combustion Engineering Europe SARL (Pulp & Paper, Minerals, Solid-Liquid Separation).
  
• 1980 Acquisition of the business activity from S4E, including Aqua-Guard licences.
  
• 1986 Development of new products, low-pressure belt filter VS8 type and Girasieve.
  
• 1987 Merger with Sprout-Waldron France.
  Reinforcement of the Industrial Process Equipment Activity (Feed Technologies, Minerals).
  
• 1989 Purchase of Combustion Engineering Inc. from the ABB Group, including the Orleans operation.
  
• 1990 Acquisition of Sprout-Bauer Inc. including Combustion Engineering Europe/Orleans by Andritz AG.
  
• 1991 Company name changed to Andritz-Sprout-Bauer S.A.
  Development of the new Belt Filter Range VSIC, VSIP, VSIF, for municipal applications.
  
• 1993 Development of the Hydrasand continuous sand filter.
  
• 1996 Development and launch of the new channel Aqua-Screen and Aquaspir.
  
• 2000 Transfer of Orleans offices to Velizy, France.
  
• 2003 Merging of the two companies to form Andritz-Guinard S.A.S.
  
• 2004 The name of the company becomes Andritz S.A.S.
