Hyperbaric Pressure Filter Print Version

Type HBF

The continuous dewatering system for low final moisture & high capacity. Available as disc filter with up to 168 m² filtration area. This filter exceeds the user's expectations!

The HBF proves its excellence compared to conventional vacuum disc/drum filters or various batch processes particularly on extremely fine-particle slurries. The totally enclosed system offers large filter areas at low space requirement, because the specific capacity is up to 10 times higher then on vacuum filters. The resultant low moisture content can otherwise be obtained with batch-type filters only.

Applications & References

  1. Coal concentrates and raw coal slurries
  2. Iron ore concentrate
  3. Lead and Zinc concentrate
  4. Copper concentrate
  5. Bauxite concentrate
  6. Red Mud
  7. Magnesite concentrate
  8. Industrial minerals
  9. Others
