Washing

Washing of separated solids can be done in the fine-screening section of the screen-bowl centrifuge that is connected to the end of the conical (dewatering) section of the decanter. Efficient, cost-effective counter-current washing is made possible by separate removal of the wash liquor over several sections of the screen.
