Performance
Particularly high experience is available for index testing mainly applied at double regulated machines. But we also have the most modern equipment for all other methods of absolute efficiency tests such as thermodynamic method, acoustic method, current meter and finally Gibson method.

Stress and vibration
The knowledge of operational behaviour (vibrations, stresses, noise etc.) of a hydraulic machine is getting higher importance over the last years. Andritz VA TECH HYDRO has all the necessary equipment like pressure transducers, accelerometers, etc. together with a powerful equipment for FFT-analysis.

Geometry
Especially for rehabilitation projects it is often necessary to measure the exact runner geometry of the existing machine. For this purpose a specially designed tool, the SNAKE is being used.
