Ultimately responsible for the proper completion of service and rehabilitation projects under his supervision;
Structures the registration and launching of all new projects, evaluates the risks, sets financial objectives and the operating strategy and implements an efficient internal and external communication plan;
With all the other departments involved, plans and coordinates all the activities required to meet established contractual and financial objectives;
Ensures a follow-up and compliance with contractual obligations, quality and health and safety standards as well as the timely performance of all activities related to each project under his supervision;
Organizes team meetings periodically during the entire duration of the project;
In collaboration with the Commercial Manager, analyzes and prepares all the documentation related to the monthly project review;
Manages monthly project reviews with management, performs a risk and opportunity evaluation and explains in details the possible financial variances with regard to the established objectives while suggesting a contingency plan to correct the situation;
With the help of the Commercial Manager, prepares and negotiates customer claims;
Obtains from clients an evaluation of their satisfaction level using an existing internal form;
Ensures the proper completion of a project once completed and remains responsible for the project until the end of the warranty period of the said project.
The Andritz Hydro Canadian Service & Rehabilitation organization is managing a sustainable growth of its activities, and therefore is looking for talented and qualified resources who will contribute to the success of this division, namely a Project Manager who will be involved in project execution and management.
Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering;
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field of hydroelectricity or energy producing equipment and related manufacturing activities;
Proven experience and accomplishments related to the efficient management of large projects with an inherent complexity and an accelerated schedule;
Proven leadership and team spirit, innovative;
Excellent listening skills and verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in French and in English;
Capable of working in a complex multicultural organization and availability to travel, if necessary.
