Washed bagasse from the Bagasse Washer is drained in an Inclined Dewatering Screw and is further conveyed over perforated screen plates into the Digester Feed System.
Excess water is continuously discharged to the Rotary Screen, where impurities are separated from the wash water flowing further to the Separation Tank. This water is reusable can easily be fed back to the process after fine sand has settled in the Separation Tank.
Drained water and fine particles are collected in the Screw housing and are flushed to the settling chamber.
