The Engineered Services - Pulp Division helps customers to get maximum production efficiency out from their machines and processes. The service covers the entire pulp mill from the wood yard to the drying machine, and geographically, the whole world.
Primary emphasis is nowadays more and more on the Overall Production Efficiency (OPE) of the machinery through the lifetime of the mill assets. It is achieved by supplying full service contracts according to the Andritz OPE® concept for continuous improvements and optimization of the operations of single machines and process lines or the entire pulp mills. In addition, the division provides more traditional services, such as rebuilds and upgrades of the equipment and processes, and supplies spare and wear parts and field services to the customers.
Automation and diagnostic products are an essential part of making efficient predective maintenance and condition monitoring. Acutest® is a fine example of Andritz' condition monitoring products. It is a system based on acoustic emission technology to detect cracks, leaks, friction and load in process equipments.
The Division is operating through sales and service locations worldwide, providing fast and responsive services to local customers. Production facilities for rebuilds are located in Finland, Austria and USA, but the Division also offers services through its partner workshops in many other locations of the world.
