Hopper scales for weighing of individual constituents in formula mixtures. Three different types of hopper scales pending on the functunality. The type VBE/EEB single where charges are closed/weighed out via sequence control of one or more dosing screws. When weighing is finshed the outlet slide opents for emptying. The type VBE/EEK single where charges are closed/weighed our via sequence control of dosing screws, while the chain conveyor is stopped. The chain conveyor starts upon finished weighing and empties the bin. The type VBE/EEB double where charges are closed/weighed our via swquence control of dosing screws. The pneumatically operated bottom slide opens upon finished weighing to empty the charge into bottom bin. A new charge can be weighed simultaneously with emptying of the bottom bin.
