Wood Pelleting
Bioenergy results from converting biomass into useful forms of energy, most commonly by burning wood to gain heat. By using renewable forms of energy from local sources, it is possible to reduce the dependence on fossil fuels, protect industries from electricity shortage and reduce carbon emissions at the same time.
The private market as well as the market for largescale power stations is growing rapidly. This is mainly a consequence of the kyoto Protocol, which covers more than 160 countries, representing over 55% of the global greenhouse gas emissions.
ANDRTIZ FEED & BIOFUEL is a major player in supplying and supporting wood pellet producers all over the world and holds a share of more than 50% of the biomass fuel market as well as the wood grinding market, which supplies wood powder to power stations. The amount of CO2 neutral fuel produces on equipment from ANDRITZ FEED & BIOFUEL replaces almost three millions tons of oil and gas per year.
