ANDRITZ HYDRO, part of international technology Group ANDRITZ, has received an order from the utility company Lyse Produksjon AS to supply the electromechanical equipment for the new Lysebotn II hydropower station, Norway. The order value amounts to approximately 40 million euros. Commissioning is scheduled for spring 2018.
The six submersible motor pumps supplied last year by international technology Group ANDRITZ to Jurong Shipyard, Singapore, were started up successfully on two drilling platforms in the North Sea. The pumps convey the industrial water for cooling the drilling equipment from a depth of 20 meters.
International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order from Klabin, the largest integrated pulp and paper company in Brazil, to supply major production equipment for Klabin’s new pulp mill in Ortigueira, Paraná, Brazil. Start-up is scheduled for the first quarter of 2016. Comparably structured orders typically represent a value approaching 300 million euros booked by the supplier.
International technology Group ANDRITZ looks back on a disappointing 2013 business year. Although the HYDRO and METALS (including Schuler) business areas saw very positive development, the results of the PULP & PAPER and SEPARATION business areas were unsatisfactory.
International technology Group ANDRITZ is to supply the electromechanical equipment for the new Lauca hydropower plant, Angola, via Construtora Norberto Odebrecht to GAMEK (Gabinete de Aproveitamento do Medio Kwanza), a part of the Angolan power corporation ENE (Empresa Nacional de Electricidade). The order value for comparable deliveries lies in the lower three-digit million euro range; the order will enter into force in the course of 2014 upon fulfillment of all administrative requirements. Commissioning is scheduled for the end of 2017.
International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order from Yieh Phui Technomaterial, China, to supply a hot-dip galvanizing line with an annual capacity of 400,000 t. The new line is designed to produce high-strength steel grades for the automobile industry. Start-up is scheduled for the second quarter of 2016.
ANDRITZ to supply the world’s largest High Energy Recovery Boiler to OKI Pulp & Paper Mills, Indonesia
International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order from OKI Pulp & Paper Mills to supply the world’s largest recovery boiler for OKI’s new kraft pulp mill in Indonesia. Start-up is scheduled for the second quarter of 2016. The order value amounts to approximately 120 million euros.
ANDRITZ to supply all hydromechanical equipment for the Muskrat Falls hydroelectric generating facility, Canada
Further to the order awarded in January 2013 to supply four Kaplan turbines for the Muskrat Falls hydroelectric generating facility, Canada, ANDRITZ HYDRO, part of international technology Group ANDRITZ, has received from Nalcor Energy also the order for delivery and installation of the hydromechanical equipment at the facility. Commissioning is scheduled for 2017.
At ChinaPlas (Shanghai, China, April 23-26), international technology Group ANDRITZ will present its strong capabilities in supplying comprehensive system solutions for the production of biaxially oriented films – from raw material storage to the winder. Visitors will have the opportunity to discuss the complete product portfolio with process experts at the ANDRITZ Biax booth K 41 in hall W5.
International technology Group ANDRITZ will be presenting its latest nonwovens solutions at INDEX 2014 in Geneva, Switzerland (April 8-11, booth 2114). ANDRITZ Nonwoven provides with its worldwide leading companies ANDRITZ Asselin-Thibeau, ANDRITZ Küsters, and ANDRITZ Perfojet turnkey solutions for spunlace, needlepunch, wetlaid/wetlace, and finishing.
International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order from Treofan, one of the world’s leading producers of plastic films, to deliver an 8.7 m wide manufacturing line for biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) films to Treofan’s largest development and production site in Neunkirchen, Germany. Start-up is scheduled for mid-2015.
ANDRITZ to supply High Energy Recovery Boiler to Mondi Świecie, Poland, as part of Mondi’s program for energy optimization and environmental protection
International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order to supply a High Energy Recovery Boiler (HERB) to Mondi Świecie, Poland. The new ANDRITZ boiler, which is scheduled for start-up at the beginning of 2016, will replace the existing recovery boiler (supplied by ANDRITZ in the 1980s) at the Świecie mill.
ANDRITZ HYDRO receives order to upgrade four Kaplan turbine units at the Shardarinskaya hydropower plant, Kazakhstan
International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order from JSC Shardarinskaya HPP, a subsidiary of the state-owned Kazakh utility company Samruk Energy, to upgrade the electromechanical equipment at the Shardarinskaya hydropower plant, which was originally commissioned in 1967.
