ANDRITZ MeWa, part of international technology Group ANDRITZ, has received an order from Nothnagel Wertstoffverarbeitung GmbH with headquarters in Hartenstein, Germany, to supply three Universal Granulators UG 1600 S. The equipment will be used for post-shredding of composite materials and replaces the shredding technology used to date.
International technology Group ANDRITZ and the ECOPHOS GROUP, a global player active in the phosphate industry, have signed a cooperation agreement for the supply of tailor-made filtration systems for ECOPHOS’ patented production processes. ANDRITZ SEPARATION, one of the world’s leading suppliers for solid/liquid separation, will supply customized press and vacuum belt filters to ECOPHOS that further enhance the performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of ECOPHOS’ patented processes.
ANDRITZ SEPARATION, part of international technology Group ANDRITZ, opened up a modern service center in Krefeld, Germany, today in order to enhance its customer service in Germany and neighboring countries. Mogul is one of the leading Turkish producers of nonwovens, supplying its products mainly to international customers. Delivery of all three nonwovens lines is scheduled still for 2016.
International technology Group ANDRITZ has successfully completed the board maschine rebuilt at the Iggesund mill in Workington, England. The new, state-of-the-art press section delivered by ANDRITZ will increase the production capacity by 20,000 tons, reaching 220,000 tons per year, and will further enhance the product quality and runability of the board machine at the same time. Energy consumption has also been reduced by almost 10 percent.
ANDRITZ Feed & Biofuel Technologies, part of international technology Group ANDRITZ, has received an order from 2Agriculture Ltd., UK, to supply a new 300,000 tons-per-year poultry feed plant to Scotland. Construction is scheduled to begin in October 2016, full production of the plant is planned for January 2018.
Schuler AG, a member of international technology Group ANDRITZ, is to take over AWEBA Werkzeugbau GmbH Aue, one of Europe's leading toolmakers, and is thus further extending its activities in this business segment. The transaction is subject to approval by the antitrust authorities, and the parties have agreed not to disclose the details of the purchase contract.

ANDRITZ to upgrade Flash Drying for Rottneros Bruk AB, Sweden: Drying capacity increase of more than 50%
International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order from Rottneros Bruk AB to upgrade the CTMP pulp drying line at its Rottneros mill, Sweden. After the modernization, the Flash Dryer’s capacity will be increased by more than 50% while at the same time specific heat consumption will be reduced. Start-up is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2016.

ANDRITZ MeWa, specialist for recycling machines and complete plant solutions and a member of international technology Group ANDRITZ, has further extended its worldwide sales network.
ANDRITZ HYDRO, a part of international technology Group ANDRITZ, has received an order from the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) to supply electromechanical equipment for the Srinagarind hydropower plant, Thailand. Commercial operations are scheduled to begin mid-2019.
International technology Group ANDRITZ has successfully started up pulping and screening equipment delivered for VPK Paperʼs PM 6 at Oudegem, Belgium. The upgraded stock preparation line processes corrugated paper and board packaging grades, boxboard cuttings, as well as corrugated board and has a feed capacity to the existing low-consistency pulper of approximately 900 tons per day.

A newly developed F-series ANDRITZ SEPARATION decanter has been started up successfully for an olive oil producer in Jaén, Spain. In the first extraction phase, the F6000 decanter already achieved a throughput of 300 tons per day.

ANDRITZ HYDRO, part of international technology Group ANDRITZ, has received an order from Daelim Lotte Joint Venture to supply the electromechanical equipment, hydraulic steel structures, penstocks, and control systems for the Gulpur hydropower station, Pakistan. Start-up is scheduled for mid-2019. The order value amounts to approximately 65 million euros.
ANDRITZ successfully starts up semi-chemical pulp line with green liquor pulping technology at JSC Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill, Russia
International technology Group ANDRITZ has successfully started up the pulp line delivered to JSC Arkhangelsk Pulp and Paper Mill (APPM) at the Novodvinsk mill, Russia. The new line features ANDRITZ green liquor technology for efficient pulp cooking, refining, and washing and produces 1,000 t/day of semi-chemical pulp for the production of corrugated board from birch and aspen.
ANDRITZ AUTOMATION, part of international technology Group ANDRITZ, has received an order from Compass Minerals® to supply the electrical distribution equipment, dynamic process simulation, and control system solutions for the sulfate of potash (SOP) project in Ogden, Utah, USA. The start-up is scheduled for the second quarter of 2016.
ANDRITZ HYDRO, part of international technology Group ANDRITZ, has received an order from Electricité de France (EDF) to supply a turbine generator unit with an output of 240 megawatts for the extension of the La Coche pumped storage power station, France. Start-up is scheduled for 2019. The order value amounts to approximately 25 million euros.
International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order from Guizhou Chitianhua to supply two tissue machines (TM5, TM6) with steel Yankees for a mill in Chishui city, Guizhou Province, for the production of high-quality facial wipes, toilet paper, and handkerchief paper. The start-up of TM5 is scheduled for the end of 2016 and of TM6 for the beginning of 2017.

International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order from Sonoco-Alcore, Finland, to supply pulping and de-trashing equipment for the OCC stock preparation line at the Karhula paper mill. Start-up is scheduled for the third quarter of 2016.

ANDRITZ CentriTune is a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller)-based system that increases the performance and availability of new and existing decanter centrifuges, regardless of whether these are ANDRITZ machines or not.
