International technology Group ANDRITZ has signed a letter of intent with Metsä Fibre to deliver key production technologies for a new bio-product pulp mill with an annual capacity of 1.3 million tons of pulp in Äänekoski, Finland. ANDRITZ HYDRO to supply equipment for the world’s first tidal lagoon hydropower project in Swansea Bay, Wales
Following an international bidding process, Tidal Lagoon Swansea Bay plc. has appointed the consortium by GE/ANDRITZ HYDRO as preferred bidder for supply of the electromechanical equipment for the world’s first tidal lagoon hydropower project in Swansea Bay, Wales.
International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order from Constellium and the joint venture Constellium/UACJ to supply two continuous annealing and pickling lines and two finishing lines for production sites in Neuf-Brisach, France, and Bowling Green, Kentucky, USA. Start-ups are scheduled for mid-2016 in the USA and the second half of 2016 in France.

International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order from Hidroeléctrica Ñuble, a subsidiary of the Chilean utility company Eléctrica Puntilla, to supply the electro- and hydromechanical equipment for the new Ñuble hydropower plant, Chile.
ANDRITZ to supply nonwovens line for production of flushable wipes to Akinal Sentetik Tekstil, Turkey
ANDRITZ Nonwoven, part of international technology Group ANDRITZ, has received an order to supply a complete wetlace line to the leading Turkish nonwovens producer Akinal Sentetik Tekstil.
International technology Group ANDRITZ has successfully completed start-up of the tissue machine with an 18-foot steel Yankee supplied to Zhejiang Jingxing Paper in Pinghu city, Zhejiang province, China.
