ANDRITZ Hydro history

More than 180 years of experience in the hydraulic energy supply business, as well as intensive research and development activities form the solid basis of ANDRITZ Hydro’s comprehensive hydro expertise.

The cornerstone was laid by the turbine and generator pioneers in Europe and North America in the 19th century. Over time growth, mergers and cooperation agreements have created a cutting-edge technology company with about 7,000 employees worldwide.
