Turbine, gearing and generator form a compact unit which is delivered fully assembled and shop-tested. This can be installed into the completed powerhouse in only one embedding phase thus reducing erection times and costs drastically.
The design concept of these compact turbines likewise reduces construction costs. Minimal powerhouse dimensions with simple intake and ouflow contours substantially reduce overall expenditures.
