Today the governor family has all hydro applications. It is thus just as suitable for new installations as well as for refurbishment projects and also capable of performing modern series type PID speed and classical PI type load regulation for all types of turbines. The programmable structure and adjustable parameters give the advantage of adapting any special customer relevant software solutions. The electrical robustness and electro-magnetic compatibility (EMC) aspects have been particularely studied in view of satisfying the most severe respective standards. Integrated protection devices ensure a high degree of insensitivity against external interferences.
