The high technical quality of ANDRITZ pumps derives from stringent manufacturing standards, a targeted organization, clearly defined business processes and well-trained staff. The quality assurance and business process requirements are defined on a globally uniform level, as are the quality standards that our pumps have to meet.
All ANDRITZ sites involved in the planning, design and manufacture of pumps have had their QM system certified according to ISO 9001. The technical requirements have been stipulated on a uniform basis. Compliance with the standards is checked regularly, the focus being placed on non-destructive testing. To secure the high quality standards, we perform independent verifications of the chemical composition with mobile spectroscopes as well as surface quality and volume checks. Other techniques applied in ANDRITZ quality control include dimensional checks of mechanical and hydraulic surfaces, balancing, and hydrostatic tests.
In addition to this, ANDRITZ has a number of quality certificates, such as, for instance EN 729/2, KTA 3201.3 and 3903, ASME N-NPT-NS. Please refer to a list of the certifications by clicking on the quality certificates link.
