ANDRITZ (PKP - Service) is seeking a self-motivated individual to provide support to the product managers and service area for the woodyard.

Job Summary / Introduction


Detailed Job Description

Sales Phase

· Assist the Product Manager with inquiries from customers, consultants and SAMs

· Assist the Product Manager in discussions with customers to develop a project scope

· Develop quotation drawings for the proposed project

· Develop a summary schedule for the proposed project

· Assist the Product Manager in creating an estimate for the project

· Assist the Product Manager with the preparation of proposal for the project

· Assist the Product Manager with the presentation of the Andritz proposal to the customer

· Participate in final negotiations to obtain order

Project Phase

· Work with Controller to set up new projects in SAP based on customer orders

· Create requisition for all project purchase orders in a timely manner

· Manage all aspects of the project execution, including engineering and manufacturing

· Maintain updated project schedules

· Monitor the project cost and keep the Product Manager/Director informed of possible overruns

· Develop and initiate plans to correct schedule and cost issues that may develop

· Resolve any customer or vendor issues and keep the Product Manager informed of issues that may need his involvement to resolve

· Maintain all project files

· Initiate the close out the project

· File all project binders and drawings for future reference

Other Responsibilities

· Assist the Product Manager in developing a business strategy to grow the business

· Work with Global Product Management to develop new products

· Assist with the wood services field service work including log-line inspections and troubleshooting

This position requires travel within North America replated to projects with customers.

o B.S. degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering

o Minimum five years' experience working in Project Management or supporting role

o Able to read and interpret contracts and project requirements

o Ability to understand and execute verbal instructions coupled with the ability to handle multiple tasks in an efficient and professional manner

o Strong analytical & problem solving skills and continuous follow through

o Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written

o Fluent in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Projects. AutoCAD is a plus

o Experience with Pulp and Paper wood processing equipment a plus
