ANDRITZ to supply boiler equipment for power plant in Pakistan

International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order from the Austrian plant engineering company Christof Industries to supply a coal-fired, circulating fluidized bed boiler for a power plant to be built by Christof Industries near Faisalabad, Pakistan.

The ANDRITZ scope of supply comprises planning, documentation, delivery, as well as supervision of erection and commissioning of a PowerFluid circulating fluidized bed boiler complying with the latest technology standard and generating 80 tons of steam per hour.

The power plant will provide 20 megawatts of electricity and process steam using environmentally friendly technology for a polyester staple fiber plant. Start-up is scheduled for the spring of 2017.
