Shaft sleeve

Standardized high-quality shaft sleeves with a coating for all common sealing systems offer an alternative at competitive pricing. Disperser and refiner housing wear protection

Deflection of the fiber-steam mix along the inside wall of the housing leads to wear and creates a safety risk. Replaceable wear protection developed by ANDRITZ is available for specific dispersing and refining applications. The lining elements can be supplied with welding straps for easy change out. This eliminates the need to dismantle the rotor disc and substantially reduces the effort for maintenance work.

Wear and replacement parts packages

Specifying and purchasing all parts required for a refurbishment can be a time-consuming challenge. ANDRITZ offers all parts for a low consistency (LC) refiner refurbishment in a single package. It is easy to purchase, includes the essential parts, has excellent accuracy of fit, and meets or exceeds OEM quality at a competitive price. All other parts, as well as professional on-site support, are available at short notice when required.

Disc filter sector

Here is a smart way to increase the capacity of a disc filter no matter who the original manufacturer is, without influencing the vacuum or increasing energy consumption. It is called the Twin Wave Sector and is a low-volume disc filter sector. The Twin Wave gets its name from its special design that provides a much larger filtration area, enhances the discharge of fiber cake, and reinforces the disc filter sector frame. A capacity increase of up to 20% is typical. No filter bags are required, so the disc filter sectors are maintenance-free.

Screw press baskets

Most Thune screw presses have tailor-made baskets that can be very costly. ANDRITZ analyzed the Thune screw press baskets and standardized an improved design: a split-design that can be removed easily for maintenance, and the ability to replace only the screen plates instead of the entire basket. It is estimated that these two design features alone result in 70% savings in maintenance costs.
