The Recovery Division supplies environmentally friendly technologies for black liquor evaporation and combustion as well as power boilers for burning biomass. In addition to recovering valuable chemicals these technologies produce clean condensates for other mill processes and generate energy.
Recovery technology includes complete recovery islands, high-energy recovery boilers, power boilers and gasifiers, evaporation plants and related technologies such as condensate stripping systems, methanol liquefaction systems, odorous gas handling systems, and chloride removal plants.
Our major activities are centered in Helsinki and Varkaus in Finland; with significant operations in Alpharetta, GA, USA; and Curitiba, Brazil.
