| Torrefaction | Torrefaction of biomass is a thermal process at temperatures ranging from 250-300° C under absence of oxygen. The main purpose of the process is to enhance the fuel properties of biomass, such as an increase of the biomass energy density and improved transport and storage characteristics. | |
