ANDRITZ receives Vienna Stock Exchange award in two categories

At the Vienna Stock Exchange Awards 2013, international technology Group ANDRITZ was honored once again for its achievements in Investor Relations. ANDRITZ took second place this year in the main category, the ATX Award, after taking first place last year. This prize is awarded to companies in the leading index of the Vienna Stock Exchange for their outstanding communication policy in the Austrian capital market.

In addition, ANDRITZ took first place in the private investors’ award category, which was awarded this year for the second time. The main focus of this award is the quality of the annual reports and media relations work, as well as the information policy towards private investors.

ANDRITZ is included in the newly launched “ATX Global Players” index

ANDRITZ is included in the newly launched “ATX Global Players” index, established by the Vienna Stock Exchange. This index currently comprises 15 companies that are listed in the Prime Market segment of the Vienna Stock Exchange and generate each at least 20% of their sales outside Europe. With 17% of index capitalization, ANDRITZ has the second highest weighting in this new index.

ANDRITZ Annual Report 2011 receives several international awards

The ANDRITZ Annual Report for 2011 with the motto “Global Faces” received five prizes at this year’s ARC Awards (Annual Report Competition) in New York, the largest and most prestigious competition for annual reports, with more than 2,000 entries every year from 30 countries. ANDRITZ took three gold awards in the “Industrial Manufacturing” category (best overall concept, best cover, best interior layout), one silver award for printing and production, and one bronze for photography.

The ANDRITZ Annual Reports of the previous years have also received several ARC awards. The jury judging the annual reports is made up of CFOs, IR managers, journalists, and photographers from 14 nations.

At the Galaxy Awards, an international marketing prize competition which is also held in New York, the 2011 ANDRITZ Annual Report received the award for best European annual report and best worldwide in the “Industrial Manufacturing” category. In previous years, ANDRITZ also received Galaxy awards for its annual reports.

ANDRITZ Investor Relations receives Excellence Award

ANDRITZ Investor Relations has received the award for the best investor relations department of all the listed companies in Austria at the “Extel 2012 Pan-European Awards” organized by Thomson Reuters. The Extel awards are based on surveys in which thousands of global fund managers and analysts cast their votes for the best investor relations teams in terms of expertise and quality of work.
