ANDRITZ Energy & Environment to supply major equipment for new biomass power plant operated by E.ON in the UK
ANDRITZ Energy & Environment (AE&E), part of international technology Group ANDRITZ since December 2010, has been awarded a contract by E.ON Climate & Renewables UK Biomass Ltd., United Kingdom, to supply equipment for a new biomass power plant near the city of Sheffield.
The scope of supply includes a bubbling fluidized bed boiler plant, a flue gas cleaning plant, the water/steam cycle system, as well as the electrical and control systems. Start-up is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2013.
