New developments and world records: ANDRITZ Steel Yankee customer event in Hungary

International technology Group ANDRITZ will be hosting a Steel Yankee customer event on June 26 and 27, 2013, in Budapest, Hungary.

With diameters up to 22 ft. and shell lengths reaching 7.4 m, ANDRITZ offers the worldwide leading technology in large Steel Yankees for tissue, paper, and board production. At the beginning of June 2013, ANDRITZ will install the world’s largest Steel Yankee at the new kraft paper machine for Zellstoff Pöls AG, Austria. At its customer event in Hungary, ANDRITZ will inform about the current status of the installation of this record-breaking Yankee, and visitors can also take part in a workshop tour at the ANDRITZ manufacturing site in Tiszakécske to learn about the Steel Yankee manufacturing process and coating technology.
