International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order from ENERGJI ASHTA Shpk, a subsidiary of Austria’s largest electric utility Verbund, to supply the electromechanical equipment for the Ashta power plant in Albania, using ANDRITZ’s proven HYDROMATRIX® technology. The order value for ANDRITZ is approx. 100 MEUR. The power plant is scheduled to start operation in 2012.
Energie Steiermark AG, Austria awarded ANDRITZ HYDRO to supply, install and commission electromechanical equipment for the Gössendorf and Kalsdorf hydropower stations that are to be built to the south of Graz. The order volume for ANDRITZ HYDRO amounts to approximately 28 MEUR.
