1969Sovema is founded as a business unit of Uranio, a battery manufacturing company based in Verona, Italy.
1992Sovema is spun off as an independent company as Sovema S.p.A.
2005Sovel (Sovema Electronics) is established as a business unit for manufacturing formation system.
2008Sovema acquires Bitrode Corporation, a leading company in lab testing equipment.
2011Solith (Sovema Lithium) is established as a business unit for Lithium-lon cell and module manufacturing.
2022Sovema and Bitrode became part of ANDRITZ Schuler GmbH (formerly known as Schuler Group).
2025Sovema (as well as Bitrode) completes the integration in the ANDRITZ Group and becomes ANDRITZ Sovema S.P.A..
