Our team contributed insights with ten paper presentations on hybridization, pumped storage, and digital solutions, emphasizing how innovation and cross-border partnerships are driving resilience and sustainability in energy systems. The sessions covered a diverse range of topics, including dam engineering, safety management, environmental stewardship, climate adaptation, and project finance. Key themes included the development of pumped storage, applications of artificial intelligence, and enhancing the safety and efficiency of water infrastructure.

At our booth ANDRITZ created an interactive hub for visitors. A dedicated VR and video station allowed guests to take a virtual tour of hydropower facilities, immersing themselves in our technology and solutions. Continuous video presentations showcased our latest projects and innovations, while comfortable meeting areas, refreshments, and promotional materials made the booth a welcoming space for networking and in-depth discussions.

We were honored to engage with partners from across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas, building valuable connections and exploring future opportunities. Special highlights included the presentation of ANDRITZ Hydropower’s latest projects and solutions, as well as active participation in technical sessions and roundtable discussions.

ANDRITZ was also proud to sponsor key elements of HYDRO 2025, including the welcome dinner—underscoring our commitment to fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange within the industry.

With the urgency for reliable, renewable energy growing worldwide, HYDRO 2025 showcased how hydropower remains central to the energy transition—especially in regions like Greece, where new hydro schemes and pumped-storage projects are accelerating the shift to clean energy.

Let’s keep the momentum going and continue shaping the future of sustainable energy together.
