Henan Mingtai, China, places two orders with ANDRITZ in the aluminum furnace sector

Henan Mingtai Aluminum Industrial Co., Ltd. has awarded two orders to international technology group ANDRITZ.
The first order covers the supply of a 120-ton furnace cell including one melting and one holding furnace. The second order comprises the modernization of the existing five sets of 60-ton melting furnaces. Commissioning of the new furnace cell is scheduled for the first quarter of 2026.
The 120-ton furnace cell will be the largest aluminum melting and holding unit in operation at Henan Mingtai. It will significantly increase the company’s production capacity and enable a broader product portfolio. The existing 60-ton melting furnaces will be modernized with advanced ANDRITZ technology and regenerative burners, achieving higher melting rates, improved efficiency, and lower fuel consumption. Digitalization features will further enhance process control and operational reliability.
The value of the order will not be disclosed. It is included in ANDRITZ’s order intake for the third quarter of 2025.
