ANDRITZ to deliver cold-rolling mill to Risse + Wilke, Germany
International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order from Risse + Wilke Kaltband GmbH & Co. KG, Iserlohn, Germany, to deliver a new cold rolling mill, including electrical and automation equipment.
The cold rolling mill with ANDRITZ 4-High technology, which will improve the strip quality and increase productivity, is designed for widths of 750 mm and thicknesses of up to 5 mm. Start-up of the mill is scheduled for the third quarter of 2018.
Risse + Wilke, a medium-sized, family-run company with a long tradition, is one of the world's leading manufacturers of and specialists in cold-rolled steel strip. The company produces around 150,000 tons of cold-rolled and heat-treated strips in a variety of dimensions and design variants.
