ANDRITZ showcases digital innovations at LIGNA 2025
International technology group ANDRITZ will present a broad range of solutions at LIGNA 2025 in Hanover, Germany from May 26-30, with a spotlight on its latest digital development: the ANDRITZ Smart Die – a stand-alone tool compatible with any pellet mill.
In feed and biofuel production, every ton counts. However, many producers experience production losses without even being aware of them. The ANDRITZ Smart Die helps producers to prevent this by integrating smart sensors into the press. These sensors continuously collect real-time operational data, which is transmitted to the Metris digital platform for visualization and analysis.
This innovative technology enables measurable improvements, including:
- Lower cost per ton of production
- Elimination of die shortages
- Consistent pellet quality
- Real-time tracking of die wear, energy consumption, and throughput.
ANDRITZ will also highlight made-to-order solutions it delivers across various process steps, designed to help customers reduce costs and minimize environmental impact. The comprehensive product portfolio the company is presenting at LIGNA 2025 includes waste-to-value recycling solutions, wood processing equipment, cutting-edge panelboard services, biomass processing equipment, and innovative solutions to produce wood fiber substrates.
A key exhibit will be the PM30-6, a high-performing pellet mill specifically designed for biomass, which achieves higher throughput while reducing the need for maintenance. Visitors to the ANDRITZ booth can also explore the capabilities of Metris, ANDRITZ’s all-in-one digital platform, which offers a future-ready foundation for digital transformation by combining advanced technology with ANDRITZ’s deep industry expertise.
Visitors will find ANDRITZ at LIGNA 2025 in hall 26, booth D27 from May 26–30 in Hanover, Germany.
