A new tissue machine installation is a major challenge for any company. The complex control systems, infrastructure, mechanical components, and chemical additives all need to work together to provide a smooth and efficient start-up. Solenis has decades of experience in the tissue industry with numerous new machine start-ups attributed to them. Continuous treatment programs also ensure efficient production are in place globally on most of the world’s tissue machines. Based on this experience, Solenis has been selected to partner with Andritz to work with them on the new pilot machine facility in Graz.
As part of this agreement, Solenis have supplied state-of-the-art chemical dosing equipment and associated chemicals covering all areas of production, from boiler and steam treatment, through to on-machine applications, and final effluent treatment.
Solenis will work with ANDRITZ and their tissue customers during pilot studies supplying the relevant chemicals and technical expertise to ensure all trial parameters are met and new initiatives are developed.
