28/09/2023: ANDRITZ GROUP Executive Board Member and CEO of ANDRITZ Hydro, Frédéric Sauze elected to the IHA Board

The members of the International Hydropower Association (IHA) have been elected to the Board for the term 2023-25!

ANDRITZ Hydro is proud to announce that Frédéric Sauze, Member of the Executive Board, ANDRITZ GROUP; CEO of ANDRITZ HYDRO, has been elected to the IHA Board. With his remarkable track record in the hydro business, he brings valuable experience and expertise to this position.

With a share of about 54%, hydropower is by far the largest renewable energy source to date. No country has come close to 100% renewables without hydropower in the energy mix. But there is still much to do, and we have to step up activities to reach net-zero targets. The new IHA Board will help shape and strengthen hydropower’s role in the fight against climate change.
