Paulo Brito
Project Management Director, ANDRITZ Hydropower Brazil
What does it take for a career to become more than just a series of roles and responsibilities? For Paulo Brito, the answer lies in 18 years of passion, growth, and connection at ANDRITZ.
From the very beginning, I wasn’t just looking for a new job—I was searching for deeper meaning and greater purpose in my work. And that’s exactly what I found in my career at ANDRITZ.
In 2007, I started in the Technical Proposal Team for Electric Power System (EPS). Step by step, I took on more responsibility, first as Proposal Design Coordinator in 2009 and later as Sales Project Manager in 2011. In this role, I had the chance to contribute to major projects in Brazil.
"With each new project, my motivation grew, and I realized that the company’s values aligned perfectly with my own.”
What fascinated me right from the start was ANDRITZ’s broad and dynamic approach to technical challenges. Back then, we didn’t yet call it #OneANDRITZWay—but those principles were already part of how we worked. ANDRITZ embodied values that deeply resonated with me.
My career took me to different departments and even across borders. In 2014, I spent several months in Vienna with the EPS System Engineering Team, before returning to Brazil to lead the restructuring of the EPS Department. Later in 2016, with the growth of the Service and Rehabilitation Business in Brazil, I took on the role of Sales Project Manager. Since 2023, I am responsible for the entire Project Execution division at Hydropower Brazil.
I am especially grateful for the many development programs that opened new perspectives for me—both professionally and personally. Looking back, I see my journey at ANDRITZ as a path full of learning, collaboration, and meaning. And I want to continue sharing this commitment with both new colleagues and those who have walked this path with me for many years.
