Industry-leading P2X engineering and manufacturing experience
ANDRITZ to engineer another 100 MW green hydrogen plant for Germany
ANDRITZ has received an order from REPCO (a joint venture of RWE Generation SE, EnBW Neue Energien GmbH, RheinEnergie AG, and Rostock Port GmbH) for the authority engineering of a 100 MW green hydrogen plant in Rostock, Germany. Subject to the investment decision REPCO intends to give ANDRITZ the notice to proceed with the supply of the plant on an EPC basis. This plant will be among the first in Germany to supply the Hydrogen Core Network and Europe's Hydrogen Backbone, marking a key step in the green energy transition.
Cornerstone laid for one of Europe’s largest plants for the production of green hydrogen
In February 2025 the cornerstone was laid for one of the largest production plants for green hydrogen in the whole of Europe. Starting from 2027, the plant will generate around 9,000 tons of green hydrogen a year to be used for the production of carbon-reduced steel. The 100 MW electrolysis plant will be supplied on an EPC basis by ANDRITZ.
