Nowadays the utilization of wood fiber for individual substrates supports the upcoming regulations for growing media and anticipates the new restrictions for peat foreseen in many countries for the near future as well. Consider that wood fiber can be easily used as integration to peat and together with other components.

Furthermore, wood fiber is considered by many companies and science as the best substitute and will be used as sustainable alternative for peat-free substrates on the market. Wood fiber is an excellent and environmentally friendly component for the substrate production.

Substrate Refiner

The Substrate Refiner by ANDRITZ offers outstanding fiber quality, that is reproduced from season to season.

For complex applications where a wide range of wood fiber qualities with consistent homogeneity is required, a comprehensive range of individual solutions is available.
