Ensure a stable cooking process with Smart Chip Level Measurement (K-4000) advanced level measurement system

Designed to automatically monitor and control the wood chip level in digesters or process vessels, the Smart Chip Level Measurement is an advanced level measurement system that facilitates the automation of chip level control.

Accurate chip level indication in cooking vessels is the key factor in achieving a stable cooking process. Smart chip level measurement (K-4000) uses smart level indicator sensor to maintain consistent cooking times and compaction profiles, minimizing variations

Variations in chip level result in process parameter deviations, such as kappa number, residual alkali, consistency, cooking H-factor and digester pressure. ANDRITZ has overcome this challenge with reliable and accurate chip level indication sensor, shaft level indicator (SLI) 3.0.

By using the data, operators get critical information for digester controls and can optimize the cooking process. The operators have instant access to the system by the HMI. The system utilizes user-friendly interface with a possibility for remote connection for fast support.

BENEFITS

  • Decrease deviations in cooking process

  • Interactive interface with critical information for digister control

  • Remote connection capability for fast support
