ANDRITZ Nonwoven & Textile: Recap 2025

2025 was a year of innovation, digital transformation, and customer-centric solutions for ANDRITZ Nonwoven & Textile Service.

Our mission remained clear: maximize uptime, optimize performance, and enable sustainable production for our global customers.

Life-Cycle Service Expansion

We expanded our life-cycle management programs to help customers achieve maximum uptime and efficiency. Preventive maintenance became a cornerstone of our offering, complemented by modernization projects and retrofits. One of the most notable upgrades was the introduction of the ANDRITZ X-Pro™ crosslapper, which brought higher speed, improved web control, and energy efficiency to existing needlepunch and spunlace lines.

Digitalization and Remote Support

Digital transformation continued to shape our service strategy. The Metris digital suite provided predictive maintenance tools, real-time performance dashboards, and remote troubleshooting capabilities. These innovations allowed customers to monitor KPIs, optimize energy consumption, and reduce intervention times, ensuring smarter and more connected operations.

Reliability and Recovery Services

Reliability remained a top priority. Our fast-response programs and certified spare parts ensured quick recovery in case of unexpected downtime. Comprehensive reliability audits helped customers safeguard their investments and maintain consistent production performance.

Optimization and Intelligent Solutions

2025 also saw the integration of ANDRITZ ProWin™ with the ANDRITZ X-Pro™ crosslapper, delivering exceptional weight profiling and web uniformity. This combination enabled producers to achieve superior product consistency while reducing fiber waste. Our optimization projects focused on improving fiber utilization and enhancing overall process efficiency.

Customized Service Agreements

To meet diverse customer needs, we expanded our ANDRITZ SYNERGY™ agreements. These tailored packages combined spare parts, audits, and digital tools, offering a flexible and cost-effective approach to long-term service partnerships.
